Branthover receives UMD Alumni Award

Jeanne Branthover, partner, Financial Services Practice, received a University of Maryland Alumni Award during the annual UMD annual Awards Gala.

jb2.jpgThe annual Awards Gala is one of the highlights of our programming year, honoring fearless alumni who have risen to the highest levels of public service, launched successful companies and made groundbreaking discoveries.

Branthover was honored by her alma mater for being one of the world’s top headhunters and an advocate for women and diversity in the workplace.

She and her team joined DHR International in March after 10 years at Boyden Global Executive Search, where she served as managing director of New York, head of the Global Financial Services Practice and a leader in the Global Technology Practice. Previously, she founded and ran a New York-based executive search firm, Branthover Associates, for more than 20 years.

Branthover appears frequently on Bloomberg and CNBC to offer insight on trends and issues such as CEO and human resources strategy, management and compensation.

Branthover was recently featured as a panelist at the Bloomberg Markets Most Influential Summit. She served as the first female president of the United Way’s Community Fund and sits on the UMD College of Education’s Board of Visitors as well as several not-for-profit boards. Branthover is a supporter and mentor to young women in the financial services and technology sectors and is a regular speaker at universities and corporations.
