González Joins DHR International as Partner

MEXICO CITY  – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce that Gerardo González has joined the firm as Partner based in the Mexico City office. González brings 26 years of human resources leadership experience across various industries and top Mexican companies.

Prior to joining DHR International, González served as Partner for Amrop Mexico successfully executing top-level & C-Suite Executive Search assignments, focusing on the oil and gas, transportation, and healthcare sectors as well as on finance, human resources roles.

González served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Grupo Aeromexico. He also worked as Executive Director of Human Resources for Grupo Mexico and at Merck Sharp & Dohme. During his years at MSD, González held the Latin America Regional HR leadership role and was a key player in the merger MSD/Schering-Plough throughout the region. González also worked for Citibank Mexico where he experienced the boom and crash of the financial market during the 1990s holding various positions, the last one being Human Resources Director.

González earned a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations form Universidad Anáhuac and has lived and worked in Mexico and Brazil. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
