DHR INTERNATIONAL PLACES PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER FOR THE INTERNATIONAL DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION (IDA)

September 2009 – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce the placement of Kathryn “Kit” Cramer, as President and Chief Executive Officer for the International Downtown Association (IDA). David Smith, Executive Vice President and Economic Development Sector Leader in DHR’s Pittsburgh office, led the search. Prior to joining the IDA, Ms. Cramer served as the Executive Director of Member Value for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce for 16 years. She previously led the economic development and education divisions for the Chamber. She began her career as the first Main Street Manager for Downtown Bartow Inc. in Florida. In her new role with IDA, Ms. Cramer will oversee membership growth, program and public-policy development, management of finances and personnel, and public relations and marketing. “IDA is excited to have Kit Cramer as our new president.
