Kristi LeBlanc serves as managing partner and leader of the North American Consumer Practice from the firm’s Denver office. 

Kristi is a member of the Consumer, Hospitality & Leisure, and Retail practice groups. She has over 19 years of recruiting experience, all with the world’s largest retained executive search firms, and has completed over 350 searches for clients ranging in size from leading Fortune 500 multi-national organizations to mid-cap and emerging ventures.

 With broad experience across all manner of Consumer Goods & Services, Hospitality & Leisure, and Retail companies, Kristi brings exceptionally strong networks and passion to her work with Natural & Organic and Restaurant companies. Her experience encompasses all functional areas in the recruitment of executives at the board-level, general management or C-level, and S/VP-level in the development of world-class leadership teams and Boards.

Prior to joining DHR International, Kristi was managing partner of the Global Consumer, Retail, and Hospitality Practice of another global retained executive search firm. She also served as a member of that firm’s operating committee.

Previously, Kristi was a Senior Partner with Korn/Ferry International in the Minneapolis office for nine years where she received multiple firm-wide awards, including Korn/Ferry’s America’s Award for Excellence and Korn/Ferry’s Excellence in Client Satisfaction Award – Global Consumer Market – Americas. 

Kristi has been extensively interviewed and published as an industry thought leader on leadership and human capital. She is an accomplished organizational keynote speaker and award-winning non-fiction author who also contributed to the college textbook, Integrated Business Communication: In the Marketplace, published by John Wiley & Sons Ltd.  Kristi is a recipient of the ‘Industry Leader Award’ from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards.  In addition, Minnesota Business magazine showcased Kristi as a Minnesota business ‘Power Player.’

Kristi’s earlier experience includes  five-years with a management consulting firm specializing in the Hospitality, Travel, & Leisure industries.  She began her career in Communications with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES).

Kristi earned her BA degree with Honors from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Originally from Los Angeles,  she resides in Denver, Colorado, with her husband and three children. < Read less
