Larry Rubin serves as managing partner of Mexico for DHR International.

Since 1997, Larry has held country manager/managing director positions in multinational firms.  He previously served as a consultant for Spencer Stuart where he focused on executive search in the Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Aviation and Industrial industries.

Larry spent 11 years in the retail consumer market serving as Mexico’s managing director for Forever Living Products, Garcoa Laboratories and also worked with Amway Corporation. He previously served as the CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, the largest U.S. chamber outside of the U.S., where he worked with leaders of multinational companies in an array of industries to help them further their businesses in Mexico and at the same time, he helped improve the corporate environment nationally. This gave Larry quite a bit of exposure and he was able to become a key opinion leader.

The earlier years of Larry’s career were in the aviation industry, working for 10 years with US Airways (now American Airlines) as country manager for Mexico, with additional regional responsibilities in the Caribbean and South America.

He currently serves as the president and chairman of the board of The American Society of Mexico, which represents U.S. interests in Mexico and the two million Americans living in Mexico, and is also a mentor with Endeavor Global, an organization aimed at creating long-term economic growth by identifying and mentoring high-impact entrepreneurs around the world. He has received the American Chamber of Commerce’s Commerce Award six times and the ITAM Best Administrator Award.

Larry has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Universidad Anahuac, where he also serves on its Advisory Board and is also a professor there. He has two young children, Isabella and Larry Jr.
