Margaret Dillon serves as principal and is a member of the firm's Consumer and Retail practice groups.

Margaret joined DHR International in 2004.  As one of the foundation staff members in the region, she has been a key contributor in the establishment of the local base of this regional business as well as the organization’s reach into Asia Pacific.  Initially based in the firm’s Hong Kong, Margaret relocated to Singapore in 2008.  Her functional experience in search covers all levels of management including board level, C-level, operational leadership and all functional areas reporting to these roles. Her industry experience covers an extensive range of sectors, with a key focus in consumer and retail and advanced technology as well as telecommunications, media and entertainment and industrial manufacturing.  Margaret has experience covering the Asia Pacific region including Greater China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia as well as the Middle East and Australia with a current primary focus on the Australasian markets.

Margaret has more than a decade of experience in executive search, including several years with one of Asia’s leading regional search firms, Executive Access Limited, based in Hong Kong, as well as Korn/Ferry International in Australia. Prior to commencing her career in executive search, Margaret spent more than a decade with Australia’s largest telecommunications provider working in various functions including account, project and general management. Subsequent to this, she specialized in consulting to various industries, in all elements of customer service and call center design, development and management for various multinational clients.

Margaret was born in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business (Honors), from Monash University, Melbourne, majoring in Marketing. She also holds a Diploma of Marketing Research from the Marketing Research Society of Australia. < Read less
