Suzy Stewart is an Executive Vice President headquartered in DHR International’s New York office, where she is a senior member of DHR’s Retail /Consumer, Human Resource, and CEO /Board Practices; and has also served as a Global Sector Leader.

With nearly twenty five years of first-hand retail industry and international experience, and having held officer-level positions in three multi-billion dollar, publicly traded retail companies, Ms. Stewart’s diversified background includes some of the most notable names in the retail and fashion industries, including Federated Department Store divisions (Bloomingdale’s), Lord & Taylor, and Ann Taylor. Her retail expertise was focused on merchandising and marketing, and she is noted as an expert in the arena of private label product development and international sourcing.
Over her retail career, Ms. Stewart served several times as a corporate officer, and was also appointed to the executive committee of Bloomingdales and Brook’s Fashions. Her senior management and merchandising responsibilities included Assistant to the Chairman (managing all soft lines), Senior Vice President- Chief Merchandising Officer, General Merchandise Manager, Regional Director of Stores and President of a private label (wholesale) manufacturing firm. For five years she also managed an international consulting practice, working with the firms of Arthur Andersen and Senn Delaney.
Ms. Stewart’s search career began in 1997 when she joined Korn Ferry International and conducted searches for Board Directors, CEOs, Presidents, CMOs, CIO, COOs, GMMs, CFOs and other senior executives.
As a long term veteran of the retail and manufacturing industry, she is considered a specialist in senior level recruiting for specialty and department stores, big box, direct to consumer and wholesale. Her assignments include Human Resources,, Marketing, Digital/e-commerce, Operations, Finance, Merchandising & Product Development/Sourcing, Technology, and Manufacturing.
