Lauren Lee White serves as Executive Vice President and Managing Director in the firm’s New Jersey and New York offices. Additionally, she is leader of DHR’s Legal Center of Expertise as well as a member of the Life Sciences, CEO and Board Services Practice Groups.
Ms. White has broad experience recruiting for a wide range of functional areas, including CEO, CFO, COO, R&D, business development and licensing, intellectual property, legal, sales and marketing, regulatory, human resources, and other strategic leadership positions.
Prior to joining DHR International, Ms. White was Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International, based in the New York City office. As a member of the firm’s Global Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice, she specialized in recruiting senior-level executives for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies at all stages of development. In 2005, she co-authored a white paper entitled “Re-Engineering the Pharma General Counsel Role.”
Previous to joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. White was with a major executive search firm in New York, where she was responsible for developing the life sciences practice after having successfully built the company’s legal and human resources divisions.
An attorney by training, Ms. White began her executive recruiting career in 1994 with a leading legal search firm and later became Managing Director for the firm’s New York office.
Ms. White holds a B.A. from Brandeis University, a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and an LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice from the McGeorge School of Law at University of the Pacific. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Ms. White is fluent in English and Korean. She and her husband, Whitney, reside in Watchung, New Jersey with their son, Marshall.
