Geoff Hoffmann joined DHR International in 1999 and was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer in October of 2008. In his curent role Mr. Hoffmann is responsible for all corporate marketing, public relations, internal recruiting, research and strategic planning responsibilities on a global basis. Previously Mr. Hoffmann was the Executive Vice President of Strategy. In this capacity he oversaw all of the firm’s international offices and was accountable for the development and growth of new locations. During his tenure the firm began its international expansion and subsequently established offices in 13 countries with additional openings to follow.
Prior to this role, Mr. Hoffmann had been an integral part of the growth and operating processes of DHR and assisted in the development of extensive global recruiting and operating procedures. Additionally, Mr. Hoffmann led the firm’s new marketing and branding strategy that is reflective of the firm’s global presence. Mr. Hoffmann began his career at DHR as an Associate in the research department executing senior level searches in a variety of industries and functions including professional services, life sciences and financial services.
Mr. Hoffmann currently serves on the financial services practice group as the subsidiary head of hedge fund recruiting. He has received numerous high marks from clients, several of which are highlighted in the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group brochure.
In addition, Mr. Hoffmann serves on the boards of DHR International and Edgewood Properties, a privately-held commercial real estate investment firm. He is also a member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago’s Associate Board of Directors.
Mr. Hoffmann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Miami University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Geoff, his wife Megan, and their two sons, reside in Winnetka, Illinois.
