Mr. David H. Hoffmann is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of DHR International. Established in 1989, the firm is now the fifth largest executive search firm in the United States with revenues exceeding $100 million, as ranked by Executive Search Review.  DHR began when Mr. Hoffmann acquired the assets of Boyden International’s Chicago and Upper Montclair, New Jersey locations. DHR currently has 49 office locations throughout the world, and is known as the fastest growing and most innovative firm in the industry.
 
Prior to forming DHR, Mr. Hoffmann served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Partner, Midwest Operations, of Boyden International, Inc.  He served as a senior member of the firm’s Financial Committee and remained Boyden’s top consultant for four consecutive years.  Previous experience includes Vice President and Partner of Korn/Ferry International and other Corporate Director positions.
 
Mr. Hoffmann is involved in numerous philanthropic organizations including: the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, The Steppenwolf board and the Northwestern Hospital Foundation; he is a Northwestern University Associate and a Governing Member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His involvement in professional organizations includes: The Economic Club, Executives Club and Chicago Club.  
 
Mr. Hoffmann serves on the Board of Directors of the Olin School of Business National Council at Washington University (St. Louis), the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (St. Louis), Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Foundation (Chicago, IL), Steppenwolf Theatre Company (Chicago, IL), The Regional Business Council (St. Louis), DHR International (Chicago, IL), JobPlex, Inc. (Chicago, IL), Osprey Capital (Chicago, IL) and Edgewood Holdings, Inc. (St. Louis), St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (RCGA), Contemporary Art Museum (St. Louis), and Variety the Children’s Charity (St. Louis). His community involvement has included volunteer work in little league, hockey, soccer, baseball, football, and softball.
 
He has been featured in numerous business publications such as BusinessWeek magazine (cover story), The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun Times, The St. Louis Post Dispatch (feature story), Crain’s Chicago Business, Smart Money Magazine,The Pioneer Press (cover story) and Fortune magazine.
