Steve Elias serves as a Vice President in DHR’s St. Louis office. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing and executing senior level search assignments. Mr. Elias has completed global assignments for CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Presidents, Board Members and functional Vice Presidents. These searches served clients such as Fifth Third Bank, Harris Bank, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Washington University in St. Louis, Peabody Energy, St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association, AB InBev Icelandic Glacial, and the Newberry Group.

He performs the candidate development and assessment phase on Board, C-level, & Director level assignments over and within every major function. Mr. Elias brings a strong research background to each client.

Prior to his current role, he stood as Client Partner in the St. Louis office where he worked alongside Chairman, David Hoffmann. Elias also served as Senior Associate and Head of European Internal Recruiting based in London, UK. In this role he was responsible for all recruitment, search execution, management, and training for the London and Paris offices. Elias began his career at DHR in 2005 in Chicago.

Prior to joining DHR International, Elias was a Sales Representative for Xerox in Chicago. Elias holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business where he received a Degree in Marketing.  He also attended St. Louis University where he was a member of the Varsity Soccer team.
