Kitty Vorisek serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Beijing office. She joined to start the Beijing office and provide executive search, in the capital city for China.
With her experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, she will also launch the nonprofit practice for DHR International in China.
Kitty has consulted on projects for the WHO-Healthy Cities China pilot, World Bank, Working Mother Media and Diversity Best Practices, Stanford ValuEd and Duke University- DukeEngage.
She has a track record in financial services with over 25 years in China, Hungary, Netherlands, Germany and America. Using her in-depth knowledge of diverse markets gained working with state-owned institutions and multi-national corporations; she developed strategies and tactics that enable substantial increases in revenue. She has introduced unique methods for personnel training and retention of local talent, resulting in initiatives that improved business operations.
As Business Manager at JP Morgan, China, she worked on the strategic plan and foundation for a business as well as corporate social responsibility models to support the brand. She implemented issue-driven programs with schools and nonprofit organizations. In adherence to the Chinese government’s priorities, she developed and executed programs with a provincial education bureau that introduced new teaching methods for rural teachers. She then replicated the model to use with migrant school teachers.
Kitty received the “Exemplary Contributor to Promoting International Education Award” nominated by the International School of Beijing and awarded by the European Council of International Schools.
Kitty serves on the Advisory Board of Planet Finance and advisor to the Dandelion Middle School.
Kitty received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana and did her graduate work at Arizona State University, Tempe.
She resides in Beijing with her husband and two children.
