John McSpadden leads the Dallas office of DHR International as Managing Director and is leader of the Interim Executive Solutions Practice. A Texas native, he leads searches in the Professional Services and Venture Capital & Private Equity sectors.

His searches have included Partners, Practice Leaders and Team Lift-Outs within Strategy & Operations, Performance Improvement, Restructuring, Valuation, M&A/Transaction Advisory, Forensic & Dispute, Internal Audit/Risk/Governance, Audit, Tax, IT, and other related Advisory Services Lines.
Within Private Equity, Mr. McSpadden partners with Private Equity Funds and places CEOs, CFOs, COOs and other related executive positions within their Portfolio Companies. The industries have included Manufacturing/Distribution, Retail, Healthcare, Professional/Business Services, Financial Services, Oil & Gas/Energy, Life Sciences, Construction, and Hospitality. Mr. McSpadden has worked on searches spanning the globe across North America, Europe, Asia, South/Latin America and the Middle East.
Mr. McSpadden was formerly the Founder and CEO of MAC & Associates LLC, a successful boutique firm based in the DFW Metroplex, which was built upon his expertise in Professional Services and Private Equity. He first got into search with MRI Network's Dallas office, OM5 Dallas, where he earned Rookie of the Year among more than 2,500 peers. Mr. McSpadden went on to establish OM5 Dallas' Accounting practice from the ground up, cultivating a team that consistently generated revenue in excess of $2-3M annually.
Mr. McSpadden played football for Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, then transferred and walked-on at Texas Tech University where he pursued his degree in Political Science and Business. He married his high school sweetheart, and they have four beautiful children. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and coaches Youth Football, Basketball and Baseball.
