Bob Marchant is the Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Marchant works primarily within the retail, consumer products and supply chain industries.

Prior to joining DHR International, Mr. Marchant was a Principal with Korn/Ferry International and Helstrom Turner and Associates where he conducted searches and partnered with retailers and consumer products companies across the country.

Bob has established himself as a proven retail and consumer products search generalist. He has successfully placed senior level candidates in marketing, operations, finance, and merchandising, while simultaneously providing his clients with outstanding candidate assessment and strategic insight. He has worked successfully in all retail formats including specialty stores, department stores, discount retailing, catalog, internet retailers and product manufacturers/distributors. Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Marchant held several leadership positions in the retail industry with Cost Plus World Markets and Mervyns Department Stores.

Mr. Marchant graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in history and education. He taught at the high school level in the Cincinnati public school system.
