Paul Bulteel is an Executive Vice President within the Global Life Science Practice of DHR International.

Paul has over 11 years’ experience in Executive Search in the Medical Technology and Life Science sectors, having previously worked with a European boutique search firm.

Paul works across the breadth of the life science industry but has particular expertise in the Medical Technology (devices and diagnostics) sector, helping clients to build management teams across the EMEA region and around the globe. He has won and executed searches for organisations at the Board, C-Suite and Senior Functional Management level for early start-ups through global multinationals. With more clients than ever seeking candidates with skill sets that may come from other environments, Paul continues to execute searches within the Pharma, Biotech and Contract Research space. 

Whilst specialising in these industries, Paul has remained a generalist across functional roles, working from R&D through to commercialisation and within the many support functions of Finance, Legal, Regulatory, and others.

Paul works closely with his clients and candidates to establish a deep understanding of each of their needs so as to ensure the right candidate is matched to the right position with the right client, so that lasting, successful solutions are reached.

Paul holds an MA in Management and Healthcare Management from the University of St. Andrews.
