Stephen Hayes serves as President/Vice Chairman of the firm. He is located in DHR’s Washington, DC office.
Mr. Hayes joined the firm in 1995. Prior to joining DHR International, Mr. Hayes held several senior positions with national real estate development firms, such as Cabot, Cabot & Forbes; Spaulding & Slye; and Trammell Crow.
Mr. Hayes' background in executive search and management consulting includes a broad spectrum of senior executive positions in nearly all industries.
Some of the clients represented include Lazard, Bessemer Trust, Highland Capital, Carlyle Group, Booz Allen, Pfizer, Dell Computer, Bank of America, Key Bank, PNC Bank, Network Solutions, General Dynamics, IBM, Intel, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Cessna Aircraft, etc.
A native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Hayes received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is involved in several charitable and foundation activities, including:

Fremont, Ohio
- President of the Board of Trustees of Imagination Stage: Children’s Theatre
