DHR appoints Connors as MD, Strategic Initiatives, Advisory Practice Group Leader

CHICAGO (Aug. 21, 2014) – Shannon Connors has joined DHR International as the managing director of strategic initiatives and is a member of the Business & Professional Services Practice Group, leading the Advisory Practice Group. She brings 25 years of management consulting and executive recruiting to DHR.
As the managing director of strategic initiatives, Connors will collaborate with Geoff Hoffmann, CEO of DHR, on the development and implementation of a variety of projects as the firm continues on its global growth trajectory.
Connors will also be a member of the Business & Professional Services Practice Group, leading the Advisory Practice Group and focusing on the recruitment of strategy, operations and human resources consultants.

In 2004, Connors joined Heidrick & Struggles. As a partner, Connors was a core member of the firm's global Technology & Services Practice and led the Consulting & Advisory Services Practice. Prior to joining Heidrick, Connors was a management consultant for Ernst & Young and CapGemini Consulting, where she was the Dallas Office People Leader with more than 500 employees. She assisted with major client operational audits and business transformation projects, including business and HR strategy, organizational alignment and large system implementations.
Connors holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Bachelor of Elective Studies in Marketing from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She was appointed to The University of Texas Business Leader & Advisory Board for The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), College of Business Administration.
