DHR Completes Search for President and Chief Executive Officer, Tampa Bay Partnership

TAMPA BAY - Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce the placement of Rick Homans as president and CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership headquartered in Tampa, Fla. The search was conducted by Dave Smith, DHR Partner, Economic Development; Tina Winner, Jobplex Partner and Laura Faust, Associate.

Homans will officially join the Tampa Bay Partnership on Nov. 9 after serving nearly four years as the president and CEO of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation. Prior to that, he served in the cabinet of Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico, as Secretary of Economic Development and, subsequently, as Secretary of Taxation and Revenue. Additionally, Homans served as the President of a New Mexico-based publishing group, and he founded the New Mexico Business Weekly. He hails from Boston and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Beloit College in Wisconsin.
