DHR engaged in CEO search for the YMCA of the USA

Global executive search firm DHR International has been selected to lead the executive search for the new CEO and president of the YMCA of the USA. Current CEO and President Neil Nicoll will step down from the position once his replacement has been selected. DHR’s Executive Vice President Mary Lee Montague and Executive Vice President Wendy Pangburn will lead the search with the YMCA of the USA Search Committee chaired by Sharon Allen, immediate past board chair for the YMCA of the USA and former chairman of the board of Deloitte LLP.
Nicoll will be retiring after an outstanding 46 year tenure with the organization. He was named CEO and president of the YMCA in May 2006 and is the 13th person to lead the organization in the United States. Nicoll began his career with the YMCA as a program director for the Howard County branch of the YMCA of Greater Baltimore.
