DHR International Completes Search for Tata Motors Chief Procurement Officer

Global Executive Search firm DHR International is pleased to announce the completed placement of Tom Flack as the Chief Procurement Officer of Tata Motors, the leading global automobile manufacturer. The search was completed by Frank Smeekes, Managing Partner, Europe.
Tom joins from Ford Motor Company, where he was most recently the Global Purchasing Director, Raw Materials & Stampings. Tom has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, fourteen of which were spent with Ford.
Tom joined Ford as a Buyer, and then went on to hold positions such as Purchasing Manager, Senior Manager of Purchasing Powertrain Installations, and Senior Manager of Purchasing Strategy. Earlier in his career Tom was Director and COO of Optimal CAE, a tier-1 engineering supplier to multiple automotive companies including Ford.

Tom graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Business Administration & Management degree. Tom also has a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Materials, & Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and, in addition, an MBA in Marketing and Marketing Management.
