Seoul, South Korea – Global executive search firm DHR International has continued with its rapid Asia Pacific expansion with the opening of its South Korea office, its twelfth in Asia Pacific. The dynamic market has seen a surge in demand recently among multinationals and local corporations for ‘globalized talent’.

“Our Asia Pacific footprint has continued to grow rapidly in response to our clients’ C-level global and local needs, and the demand for globalized talent, or leaders with world-smart perspectives and experience, has become especially keen,” said Christine Greybe, president of DHR International.

She added: “Our South Korea office completes our build-out to major markets, and follows our expansion in the Middle East earlier this year. We also believe cross-border talent movements will increase as the South Korean economy continues to power ahead.”

According to Philippe Tirault, DHR International’s managing director for Korea based in Seoul, the new office has seen a rush of senior-management assignments.

Tirault commented: “We have already started searches for several Fortune 500 clients and major Korean corporations, mainly in the industrial and consumer sectors. We have also worked for clients in other fields like banking, technology and healthcare. The demand is high across most fields for high caliber Korean Executives with a global mind set.”

He added: “We are focused on providing customized solutions and highly strategic, borderless searches, to assist our clients with their talent imperatives. In a difficult market such as Korea, the competition for outstanding talent is even more acute.”

DHR’s office in Dubai, which covers the Middle-East and North Africa, recently ramped up its hiring in response to market needs, and is looking to expand across the region. Its experienced team is also focused on C-level and senior management searches.
