DHR hires Muñoz as managing director, Latin America

SANTIAGO, CHILE (Sept. 9, 2014) – DHR International has named Marco Muñoz as the new managing director for the firm’s Latin America region. He brings more than 18 years of international executive search experience to DHR and his expertise is heavily focused within the financial services, technology and industrial sectors. Muñoz will be responsible for leading the firm across all regions and functions within Latin America.

Before joining DHR, Muñoz served as senior client partner at Korn/Ferry. Prior to that position, Muñoz was a managing partner for the Miami, Mexico City and Santiago offices of another international executive search firm and was the regional Latin American coordinator for the firm’s technology practice.

In his career prior to executive search, Muñoz served as the CEO of a wireless service operator that provided cellular and paging services in Chile.

Muñoz studied electronic engineering, specializing in automatic control systems and computers, at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Chile.
