Sara Garlick Lundberg joins DHR International as Partner

Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce Sara Garlick Lundberg has joined the firm as Partner in the Nonprofit practice group.

An experienced executive search professional, Lundberg is skilled in nonprofit search consulting, organizational assessment, and executive transitions. Lundberg is passionate about gender and racial equality, health, education, and women’s rights, choosing to focus her work in those areas. With her emphasis on gender and racial equality, she will invigorate and expand DHR’s nonprofit Practice.

Lundberg brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, executive leadership, and research to her role as a talent advisor. She specializes in executive search, organizational assessment, and leadership transitions, with a focus on business development, finance, fundraising and c-level roles.

Lundberg began her career at The Wall Street Journal’s SmartMoney magazine. She later worked as a fundraiser in the nonprofit sector at children’s organizations like Absolute Return for Kids US (ARKUS),  Children for Children (now GenerationOn), The Children’s Aid Society, and Civic Builders. Prior to joining DHR, she was a Senior Search Consultant at DRG.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science, and International Development from Bryn Mawr College. In her spare time, Lundberg volunteers with American Corporate Partners, where she mentors and coaches veterans seeking professional roles in the civilian world.
