Slater joins DHR International

NEW YORK, NY (JUNE 7, 2016) – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce that Patrick Slater has joined the firm as partner in the Financial Services Practice Group.  

Slater brings 15 years of executive search experience to DHR International in the banking, private wealth management, asset management, insurance, alternative investments, real estate, FinTech and private equity industries.  He has successfully completed numerous searches at the C-level, including CEO, CIO, COO and CFO. 

Prior to joining DHR, Slater served as a managing director with Horton International, a global executive search firm.  He began his search career in 2001 when he founded Brower Group, a boutique firm that served more than 100 prestigious financial services clients.  Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at NCR Corporation and was an executive with two venture capital backed FinTech firms.  Slater also served as the Chairman of PNS Group, a consortium of search firms, for more than 12 years. 

Slater currently serves on the board of the Farmington Valley YMCA where he is also Chairman of the board development committee.  He is also involved with the Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club, the Simsbury River Run, which funds college scholarships for local high school graduates, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Slater holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated cum laude.
