Wing Joins DHR International as Managing Partner

HOUSTON – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce that that it has acquired OBEN Search and that OBEN’s founder, Michael Wing, has joined the firm as Managing Partner in the Oil & Gas industries.

Wing brings more than 18 years of experience as a retained search executive, primarily in the oil and gas industry in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Wing’s expertise spans to sales, operations, technology leadership and finance primarily for middle-to-senior-level management.

Prior to joining DHR, Wing served as Managing Partner and Founder of OBEN Search, a boutique retained search firm for the oil and gas industries which he launched in 2016. Before OBEN, Wing served as Manager with L&A search, a small boutique before joining 6 Search in 2014. Throughout his career, Wing has conducted over 250 searches with leading companies such as Halliburton, Schlumberger, Forum Energy, ABB, Rockwell, AF Global, KBR and more.

Wing is very active in the philanthropic community, serving as a volunteer for the Down Syndrome Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Houston. He is also the Co-Founder of Challenger League Missouri City, a local baseball league for children with disabilities.
