Pierre-Jean Françon serves as Managing Partner of the Asia Pacific Retail and Consumer Practice and is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

As head of DHR International’s Asia Pacific Consumer & Retail practice, he specializes in executive search and is a trusted advisor for global corporations as well as local conglomerates based in Asia. He works senior level assignments across key functions with a strong focus on general management and digital related roles.

Previously, Pierre-Jean served as Vice President with an Asian boutique executive search firm in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Prior to that, Pierre-Jean was based in Japan where he worked with one of the country’s leading executive search firms as a Senior Consultant and was in charge of retail recruitment. He started his career in the executive search industry in 2011 in Tokyo.

During the early stage of his career, Pierre-Jean worked as a Sales Associate with a prestigious luxury brand in Paris where he was attending to high-end clientele and learned about the importance of quality customer service. Throughout his career he has identified top tier talent in each of the major consumer markets in Asia.

Pierre-Jean is a certified HOGAN assessor and is also multi-lingual (French, English, Japanese and Italian). Originally from Paris, France, he holds a  Masters' degree in International Business from Grenoble School of Management in France. < Read less
