Soladé (shol-a-day) leads the Diversity & Inclusion practice as a Managing Partner at Jobplex. In his role, he implements innovative solutions, as well as trains on techniques, to ensure clients achieve a diverse feeder group of future leaders in every engagement. He is also a strategic advisor supporting firm-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives. His wealth of experience recruiting diverse leaders across a broad range of industries and functional areas will complement DHR’s Diversity practices globally.
Having served as President of a boutique search firm that focuses on increasing the representation of women, people of color, and veterans within senior management across sectors, Soladé was credited with expanding and diversifying the firm’s portfolio and increasing repeat business by over 60% during the last five years of his tenure. In addition to establishing the firm’s non-profit practice, he introduced candidate assessment capabilities and innovative KPI’s as part of the firm’s client service delivery model.
Prior to executive search, Soladé held several management roles in human resources including talent management, diversity & inclusion, and talent acquisition. In his last corporate role, Soladé held talent acquisition and performance management responsibilities where he played a key role during the company’s merger-integration as well as supporting the expansion of its ecommerce business. Soladé started his career. creating access for financially disadvantaged black and Hispanic college bound students throughout New York City.
He has served as Trustee of Utica College’s Board for 16 years and is currently Chair of the Compensation Committee and had previously chaired the Student Life & Educational Experiences committees. He is a proud member Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., a historically African-American community service organization.
A first generation American from Sierra Leone, Soladé holds a BS in International Business from Utica College and an MS in Organizational Change Management from The New School for Social Research in New York City. He is also certified in Hogan Leadership Assessments and their Advance Feedback methods. A native New Yorker, Soladé resides in Washington, DC with his wife and two sons. < Read less
