Sussannah Kelly serves as partner in DHR’s Toronto office. Specializing in senior talent acquisition for clients across North America, she is a member of the Life Sciences, Industrial and Financial Services Practice Groups, and has additional experience in the Technology and Telecommunication sectors.

Prior to joining DHR International, Sussannah was managing director and  a co-owner of the Toronto, Central and Eastern Canada practice with Boyden. With over 20 years as a senior HR leader, Sussannah brings an executive perspective to every client engagement. Having previously served as SVP, HR, with MDS Proteomics, as well as CHRO roles with firms such as NCR Canada, Rogers Communications, Amdahl, Bank of Montreal, and Johnson & Johnson (Ortho Pharmaceutical and Janssen)  she incorporates her deep industry and functional knowledge to every search.

Sussannah has received numerous awards and accolades over her professional career, including Toronto Life’s “Top 10 Employers”, as well as The Vision Award from the Federal Government for Employment Equity. In addition, she sponsors the prestigious Toronto Senior HR, and CEO Forums. A founding member of the Human Resources Software Council of Canada, Sussannah is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, INNET and IWF. A board member of the Nightwood Theatre, Sussannah has also sat on the boards of the Ontario Breast Cancer Foundation, West Park Board of Governors, The Royal Ontario Museum Foundation and the Toronto Human Resources Professional Association.

When she is not placing best in class talent, Sussannah is served as Chair of the 2011 YWCA Women of Distinction Award, as well as the 2012 and 13 selection committees. She is also a popular keynote speaker, focusing on topics such as succession management, networking, talent acquisition, Canada’s brain gain, talent diversity, cultural alignment, and effective cultural transformation.

Sussannah has appeared numerous times on CBC and CTV to discuss industry trends and the economic outlook on hiring. Sussannah holds an Executive Management Diploma from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College. < Read less
